Even before he became the chief regulator of the Africa’s biggest telecommunications market, the professor of telecom engineering had already been a recipient of 18 distinguished awards and certificates of honour.

VIDEO: Consumer education will minimise exposure to cybercrimes - NCC
The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has stated that a multi-stakeholder approach where all necessarry stakeholders within the telecommunications ecosystem play their respective roles will help in minimising Internet users' exposure to the risks and dangers of cybercrime.
Felicia Onwuegbuchulam, Director, Consumer Affairs Bureau at NCC, stated this during the 108th edition of the NCC's Consumer Outreach Programme (COP) held at the Imo State University, Owerri.

The Director General of the National Institute for Pharmaceuticals Research and Development (NIPRD), Dr. Peter Obi Adigwe, has said that NIPRD and NCC need to collaborate to build a data base to harness the research by all those working in pharmaceutical area, so that prospective investors can access such data base easily.
Adigwe, who spoke extensively to establish the basis for collaboration between NIPRD and NCC based on the latter's 8-Point Agenda, was speaking during the courtesy visit he paid to the Commission in appreciation of the support NCC had earlier offered and to discuss areas of more concrete collaboration.
