The succeeding DIrector of Public Affairs Department, Mr. Nnamdi Nwokike continues with his familiarization visits into day 2, where the DPA and his team paid a visit to Leadership Newspaper and Daily Trust Newspaper, in Abuja on October 11, 2018.
The DPA was received warmly by the two media houses and promised to accord him all the necessary support to succeed.

The Management of the Public Complaints Commission, led by its Chief Commissioner, Hon. Chile Igbawua, paid a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Communications Commission’s Head Office in Abuja.

Tony Ojobo, Director Public Affairs Department retired from Public Service at the age of 60, on Friday October 5, 2018.
Ojobo joined the Commission in 2000, as Deputy Director Projects in the Office of the Executive Vice Chairman/ CEO- Chief Ernest Ndukwe, where he was saddled with the responsibility of overseeing the coordination of the World Bank Consultancy in the Commission in Institutional Strengthening and Development.

The Nigerian Communications Commission has inaugurated the new governing board of Digital Bridge Institute (DBI) on Friday 5th October 2018.
Senator Olabiyi Durojaiye who delivered the Keynote address on behalf of the Minister of Communications Technology, Barrister Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Shittu noted that “ Since the establishment of the institute by NCC in 2004, Digital Bridge Institute has been training and empowering citizens in vocational and ICT skills. The NCC should be commended for continuing to provide the needed support to the institute over the years to ensure its sustainability, growth and development.”
